Prepare for a clean transfer
Start with smooth, fully cured nails and remove dust before stamping. Apply a thin, even layer of polish to the chosen design and scrape in one steady motion. Picking up the image quickly prevents the polish from drying inside the etched lines.
Build a balanced set
Use one main pattern across several nails, then add one accent design to create rhythm. French lines work well as a base because they provide structure; floral, animal, star, or seasonal details can then be added selectively. Test the arrangement on a practice nail before working on the final manicure.
Clean as you go
Remove polish around the skin before curing. Clean the plate, scraper, and stamper with products that are compatible with your nail system. Keep the etched surface dry and return plates to their storage bag when the design is finished.
Stamping checklist
- Prepare a smooth base.
- Use a thin amount of stamping polish.
- Scrape once with even pressure.
- Roll the stamper without pausing.
- Cure and seal each layer as directed.
Fixing common problems
Broken lines usually come from too little polish, a slow pickup, or an uneven nail surface. Clean the plate, adjust the polish amount, and test again rather than pressing harder.
